Dublin City Marathon Winners Announced
Kenyan Runners Dominate
Sunday's race saw Kenyan runners sweep the top three positions in both the men's and women's races.
The men's race was won by Daniel Kipchumba in a time of 2:10:08. Kipchumba was followed by compatriot Philemon Kiplimo (2:10:19) and Joseph Kiprono (2:10:23).
The women's race was won by Brigid Kosgei in a time of 2:24:26. Kosgei was followed by compatriot Ruth Chepngetich (2:24:30) and Ethiopia's Hiwot Gebrekidan (2:24:38).
The Dublin City Marathon is one of the most prestigious marathons in the world, and the Kenyan runners' dominance of the race is a testament to their strength and endurance.
